For the past 20 years the Marquetty family has privately owned the
hotel.
The interior of the building has been furnished to keep in style with
the buildings character. The ten bedrooms are all individually styled and
with a personal touch displayed in them all.
At the rear of the hotel is a beautifully walled garden, which the
guests are free to enjoy at their own leisure.
With an extensive wine list and a very comfy lounge to relax in, there
is no need to venture out on those rainy days. As you sip away at a cheeky
chardonnay, peruse the restaurantÂ’s excellent A La Carte menu. The chef de
cuisine happens to be Mr Marquetty, born in the south of France. Combining
fresh local produce with Mediterranean influences offering a wide variety
of mouth-watering dishes, all prepared to order.
The hotel also caters for functions and conferences, offering excellent
facilities and competitive rates.
The Garden Room can cater for 120 people comfortably for a main
reception. An additional 60 people can be accommodated for an evening
reception.
Conferences could not be easier, large or small, with the choice of
three room and three different styles; Theatre, Boardroom and Classroom.
